Teen Scene - 2nd floor (for those in grades 7-12)


Mondays through Thursdays from 3 to 9 p.m.

Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Teen Book Discussion (grades 7-12)

Thursday, December 3 at 4 p.m.

What book are you reading right now? Come discuss what you’re reading with other teens! Prizes for those who attend.
For teens who attend December 3, your name will also be entered into the Teen Winter Reading drawing.
Teen Soapmaking (grades 7-12)

Thursday, November 19 at 4 p.m.

Make shaped soaps for yourself, or as gifts. All supplies are provided.
Choosing the Right College for You (grades 7-12)

Thursday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m. or Wednesday, November 18 at 3:30 p.m.

A representative from Purdue University Calumet will talk to students about what to consider when choosing a prospective college or university.

Adult learners, high school students, or parents of students are welcome to attend.

Teen Winter Reading Program (grades 7-12)

Program runs from December 1 through December 31.

Just read a book from the Library and you’re entered into a drawing for a $50 Best Buy gift card.

Teen Candymaking (grades 7-12)

Thursday, December 17 at 4 p.m.

Learn how to make some sweet treats! All supplies provided.
