Teen Scene - 2nd floor

Teen Scene is for those in 7th through 12th grades.

Teen Scene hours:

Monday – Thursday 3-9 p.m.

Friday 3-5 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Teen Programs (grades 7-12 only)

All programs are for teens in grades 7-12. Questions about any Teen Program? Call 931-5100 ext. 351.

Teen Winter Reading takes place from Dec. 1-30. Teens have the opportunity to win!

You can win prizes for reading! Each book gets you an entry into the prize drawing. So start reading!

•For teens in grades 7-12.

•Books (which includes graphic novels, audiobooks, and playaways) must be checked out from the Hammond Public Library with a valid library card.

•When you finish a book, stop by the Information Services Desk on the 2nd floor and fill out an entry form for the drawing.

•A mini-drawing is held on Friday, December 19th, for a $10 Target gift card.

•The grand prize drawing will be held the first week of January, 2015. This year’s prize is a $25 Best Buy gift card.

Teen Book Club

Thurs., Dec. 4 at 4 p.m.

Share your love of books, and discuss what you're reading with other teens. Prizes for those who attend.

Teen Jewelry Party

Thurs., Dec. 18 at 4 p.m.

Make a pop tab bracelet, a friendship bracelet or a washer necklace. They make great gifts. All supplies are included.

Teen Book Club

Thurs., Jan. 8 at 4 p.m.

What book are you reading right now? Come discuss what you’re reading with other teens! Prizes for those who attend.

Teen Sweet Treats Program

Thursday, January 22 at 4 p.m.

We’ll be making easy and delicious treats.
