FRIENDS MEETINGS
- The Friends board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. Friends members may attend.
FRIENDS FUNDRAISER
- The Friends hold a variety of fundraisers to assist the library. We appreciate your support.
USED BOOK SALE
An ongoing book sale is in the Book Sale Room at Main Library.
Ongoing sale prices are:
Hardcover; Oversized Paperback $1.00 DVD or CD $1.00 Paperback, VHS tape 50 cents Youth book, cassette 25 cents Magazine, record 10 cents Specially priced items and sets: as marked
A Half Price Sale is at the Book Sale Room at Main Library on the last Saturday of most months
from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sale excludes specially priced items and sets.
No sale in March. Next Sale: Sat., May 25

Half Price Sale prices are:

- Your Book Sale and vending machine purchases allow the Friends of the Hammond Public Library to fund programs and services that the Library would otherwise be unable to provide. Donations of used books, magazines, DVDs and VHS tapes, CDs and records are always accepted.
OTHER NEWS
- We need Friends members to volunteer in the Book Sale Room. Please join or renew, and volunteer!
- Your donations of gently used books, magazines, movies and music are appreciated! Just bring them in during library hours.
FRIENDS MEMBERSHIP
Your Friends of the Library membership plays an important role in library service to the community.
The Friends are a separate organization, not funded by the library or the government.
The Friends exist to raise funds for projects and programs, lend support to legislative activities when needed,
and help in the Book Sale Room.
Friends of the Library Hammond Indiana, Inc. is a member of Friends of Indiana Libraries (FOIL) as well as a national group, United for Libraries: the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations.
